The Loeb/ArtLab Fellowship Grants & Fellowships

Description

The Loeb/ArtLab Fellowship is open to any artist or person with an artistic practice who applies for a Loeb Fellowship and meets the requirements thereof. The intention of a joint Loeb/ArtLab Fellowship is to give practicing artists the same Fellowship experience they would have as Loeb Fellows, with the added benefit of being granted studio space in the ArtLab building, research support and networking resources through the ArtLab community, and potential funding for proposed programs and/or projects over the course of the year. This pilot partnership between the Loeb Fellowship and ArtLab at Harvard University launched with the Loeb Fellowship Class of 2022, during academic year 2021-2022.

Description

Delfina Foundation is pleased to announce an open call for their annual Brooks International Fellowship Programme, in partnership with Tate. Now in its twelfth year, the highly successful programme is open to international practitioners based outside of the UK, to be hosted in the Tate Modern Curatorial Division at Tate for six months in 2026, complemented by a residency at Delfina Foundation. The work will provide a critical reassessment of classical modernist histories of their international collection. The research will spotlight two groups of artworks focused on two issues: 1) gender and queer ecologies; and 2) ecology of migrating identities. Fully funded Brooks International Fellowships are made possible by the generous support of the Rory and Elizabeth Brooks Foundation.

The Prince Claus Fund is an independent foundation dedicated to culture and development. The Seed Award recognises 100 emerging talents and offers support to creative work that engages with urgent socio-political issues within their local context. Recipients receive €5.000 to freely invest in their practice, alongside global recognition, connections, and opportunities. The Prince Claus Fund welcomes applications from individuals who are within the initial 1 to 5 years of their professional career, whose practice addresses pressing social and political issues that are important within their local context, and who have received little to no institutional recognition and support for their artistic practices.

The 2026 Neddy Artist Awards Grants & Fellowships

Description

The Neddy Artist Award is one of the most generous and longest-running awards for visual artists in the State of Washington, now providing two awards of $30,000, and six of $3,000, to artists living and working in the Puget Sound region. The program began in 1996 and is funded by the Behnke Foundation as a tribute to the life and work of Seattle painter and teacher Robert E. [Ned] Behnke (1948-1989). In 2011, Cornish College of the Arts gained stewardship of the Neddy, and are now entering their thirtieth year as a part of Seattle University!

Applications are now open for the FLAD Grants for Artist Residencies in the USA in 2026, which aim to support the development and training of artists of Portuguese nationality or resident in Portugal for more than five years. The FLAD Grants for Artistic Residencies in the United States will support artists aged between 25 and 35 who wish to develop an artistic residency in a North American institution. Artists with projects in the fields of photography, cinema, jazz, literature and visual arts can apply. FLAD will support the chosen artists with up to 1,200 euros per week, up to a maximum of four months, in artistic residencies that start during the year 2026. Applications will be open until January 14, 2026.

UCROSS Fellowship For Native American Artists Grants & Fellowships

Description

The Ucross Fellowship for Native American Artists supports the work of contemporary Native American visual artists, writers, and performers. Selected fellows receive a four-week residency that provides uninterrupted time for creative work, private studio space, living accommodations, meals prepared by a professional chef, a stipend, and the inspiring setting of the High Plains. Each fellowship also includes a $2,000 award and the opportunity to share work publicly through a featured exhibition in the Ucross Art Gallery, a reading, or a performance.

Established in 2018 with initial support from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the fellowship began by serving Native American visual artists. In 2020, following the success of its first two years, Ucross received funding from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to continue the program and expand it to include Native American writers. In 2024, additional NEA funding further extended the fellowship’s reach to support Native American performers, reflecting Ucross’s ongoing commitment to amplifying Indigenous voices across disciplines.

Be a practicing contemporary visual artist currently producing works of art in all visual mediums, including but not limited to PAINTING, DRAWING, MIXED MEDIA, SCULPTURE, PRINTMAKING, PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, ANIMATION, PERFORMANCE ART, INSTALLATION, and CERAMICS; and
An enrolled member of a state-recognized or federally-recognized Tribe, Pueblo, Nation, Native Community, Political Entity, or Alaskan Native Village.

MFA Community Arts Initiative: Artist Project (2026-2027) Grants & Fellowships

Description

The Artist Project is a collaboration between the MFA and twelve afterschool community organizations in the Boston area. Each year a new experienced artist with a passion for community arts is selected to plan and lead a project with children between the ages of six and twelve. The lead artist guides the children and helps them create a collaborative work of art inspired by the Museum’s encyclopedic collection. The completed project is exhibited in the Edward H. Linde Gallery in the Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art at the MFA. A stipend of $50,000 and a materials budget is provided to the selected artist.

The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is an $8,000 unrestricted cash grant available to artists living in New York State and/or one of the Tribal Nations located therein. This grant is awarded in fifteen different disciplines over a three-year period (five categories a year) and the application is free to complete. The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is not a project grant, but is intended to fund an artist’s vision or voice, at all levels of their artistic development.

Description

Founded in 1975 by writer and social justice activist Barbara Deming, Money for Women is the oldest ongoing feminist granting agency in the US and Canada. Grants from the foundation give monetary support and encouragement to feminist writers and visual artists who identify as women, cis-women, trans-women, and/or nonbinary. The Fund relies on a volunteer Board of Directors and carefully chosen judges who collaborate in making awards. While other grant sources have come and gone, Money for Women is now in its sixth decade – still feminist and still willing to take risks. NOTE: This year, the submissions portal will close after 250 submissions in each genre, so be sure to send in your materials early.

Description

cia gallery, nyc is proud to present their inaugural open call for a solo and a group exhibition. Two proposals will be selected, each presenting an up to three week exhibition with an opening at the physical, ground floor gallery in NYC, off of the L train in the 11385 zip code. Each exhibition will be funded at $2,000, with $1,200 distributed ahead of the opening and the rest as artist or curator fee at the time of the opening. The deadline is January 31st, 2026 for solo exhibitions. Each project or artist website will receive written feedback. Selected exhibitions will be provided promotion, installation support on-site, and some staffed gallery hours open to the public during the exhibition’s run.
